- General maintenance duties (e.g., clean and mop floors as needed, empty trash cans throughout facility, promptly clean all floor spills and/or wet spots created by inclement weather, maintain entryways and hallways free of dirt and debris, Clean and sanitize all toilets, urinals, and sinks. Clean the cafeteria and assist with lunch duty cleanliness, wash building walls and windows, replenish restroom paper and soap dispensers as need)
- Perform perimeter checks to maintain a clean outside environment, clear of rubbish and debris. Clean and dispose of any identified outside trash and debris.
- Ensure snow or debris removal from sidewalks in front of building and surrounding building, utilize ice melt agent to ensure sidewalk safety.
- Notify maintenance supervisor and management of the need for building repairs
- Attend training to remain informed of OSHA regulations as it pertains to assigned duties; changing techniques in cleaning and maintenance
- Clean, wipe sinks, and water coolers with disinfectant cleaner. Clean and sanitize microwave ovens and refrigerators
- Insure fire exits and escapes are clear and ready for emergency use
- General maintenance duties (e.g., clean, mop, scrub and burnish floors as needed, empty trash cans, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, clean the cafeteria, wash walls and windows, replenish bathroom supplies)
- Maintain a clean outside environment, clear of rubbish and debris

Under the general direction of the Custodial Supervisor and the Director of Maintenance and Building Administrator, the Custodian/Stadium Assistant is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the building and grounds, using the appropriate materials, methods, policies and procedures.
