Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Cook to join our team. The cook will be responsible for preparing meals according to established menus, resident dietary needs, and food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals that meet nutritional and therapeutic requirements.
- Follow menus and recipes accurately.
- Ensure food is handled, prepared, and stored safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Work cooperatively with dietary aides and nursing staff.
- Follow all state and federal regulations related to food service in healthcare settings.
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking experience required (healthcare or long-term care experience preferred).
- Knowledge of modified diets and safe food handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
