Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with attention to detail, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to execute menu planning and daily specials that delight guests.
- Maintain organized workstations, ensuring all tools and ingredients are properly stored and ready for use.
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of dishes while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in kitchens is required.
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, and food service within restaurant or hospitality settings.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
- Experience with menu planning, catering, and fine dining environments is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail.
