Position Overview:
EPA is seeking a passionate, dedicated Mandarin educator looking to join our school community. We believe educators play a critical role in creating an inclusive and dynamic learning environment, encouraging student growth.
Core Academic Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with SC academic standards and learning objectives.
Assess, document, and analyze student progress regularly, providing feedback to students and parents.
Maintain accurate records of student performance, grades, and assessments as required.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities and backgrounds.
School & Community Engagement
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administrators to support school-wide goals and initiatives.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as required.
Share knowledge with supervisors and co-workers for mutual benefit.
Foster strong relationships with parents by engaging in parent teacher conferences.
Maintain clear and timely communication with parents throughout the school year.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Middle Level Education from an accredited institution *concentration in science
● Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of East Point Academy.
Prior experience in Middle Level Education
