Position: Physical Therapy Office Manager/Receptionist
Location: East Oahu Physical Therapy
Pay: $18-27 (based on experience)
Job Type: Full Time (training starts beginning of July)
Job Description:
As the Office Manager, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our physical therapy clinic. You will be responsible for overseeing the administrative duties of the clinic, managing patient schedules, coordinating with the physical therapy staff, and ensuring that the office operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient intake and scheduling
- Coordinate patient flow and assist in ensuring a smooth clinic experience
- Take payments and oversee insurance processes, including verifying benefits and authorizations
- Communication with doctors’ offices
- Handle office supplies and maintain inventory
- Supervise office staff and facilitate team communication
- Working with the owner to coordinate/run team meetings (including running reports)
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies
- Assist in marketing and promoting the clinic’s services
- Manage patient inquiries and concerns, ensuring excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a healthcare office, preferably in physical therapy or a related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality
- Leadership abilities and experience managing staff
- Knowledge of insurance procedures and billing practices is a plus
