What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-Credit Training Facilitator position at East Mississippi Community College?
- Deliver non-credit training and support pathways to credit programs;
- Develop industry-aligned curriculum and provide advanced manufacturing instruction;
- Maintain accurate training records, reports, and compliance documentation;
- Track project activities, expenditures, and data for grant and workforce compliance;
- Maintain training equipment, supplies, and materials;
- Participate in professional development;
- Provide customized training for industry partners and the public;
- Collaborate with Workforce staff and support daily operations.
Requirements | Associate degree in a manufacturing or related technical field At least 3 years of work experience in manufacturing and industry |
Skills | Experience with one or more of the following: electrical systems, robotics, automation, PLCs, VFDs, mechanical drive systems, fluid power, and multi-platform troubleshooting. |
Other Qualifications Other Requirements | Preferred certifications such as OSHA 10, Arc Flash, or other manufacturing credentials. Knowledge of industry assessments (hands-on and online), leadership training, maintenance, process technology, and Industry 4.0 technologies. Supports the College mission implicitly and explicitly in the daily execution of all duties and responsibilities; Actively participates in maintaining an effective and continuous recruiting program; Participates in Institutional Effectiveness activities; Represents the College in a professional manner as evidenced by dress, demeanor and the discharge of daily responsibilities; Fulfills other duties as assigned by the President and/or supervisor. |
