What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook/ Dish washer position at East Landing?
We are looking for a energetic team orientated prep cook and or dishwasher to join our team!
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
- Assist in inventory management and food storage practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Adapt to changing menus and special requests from customers.
- Load and unload dishes, utensils, and cookware into the dishwasher.
- Operate the dishwasher according to manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
- Select appropriate wash cycles based on the type and level of soiling.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwasher by regularly cleaning filters and interior.
- Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Assist in organizing and restocking kitchen supplies as needed.
