Building: Middle/High School
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience preferred
Experience working with student-athletes at the middle and/or high school level preferred
CPR and AED certified (or willing obtain certification prior to the season)
Skills & Abilities:
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of the game of basketball and possess the ability to plan, develop, and implement a quality middle school program. The Middle School Head Coach is expected to foster skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive character among student-athletes.
The successful candidate must work collaboratively with the Varsity Girls Basketball Coach to ensure alignment and consistency throughout the girls basketball program, including player development, team expectations, and program philosophy.
Candidates should possess a basic knowledge of physical conditioning, injury prevention, and first aid, while maintaining a strong commitment to positive sportsmanship and student growth both on and off the court.
Fingerprinting and a criminal background check are required prior to the start of employment.
