For our client, a mid-size trading firm:
Trading Operations Engineer
You will be part of the firm's Technology division but located on the trading desk and embedded in the technical operations processes of the firm.
The tasks are roughly split evenly between desk facing activities and light coding tasks (Python, bash, MySQL) in collaboration with full time development staff.
Duties and responsibilities include:
• First point of contact for traders
• Install, configure and monitor critical trading applications
• Incident management via ticketing and documentation
• Collaborate with developers for all operational processes supporting trading applications
. This is a fully in-person role that entails constant communication. Communication ability is especially important for this position.
. Occasional travel (few times a year) to our European office should be expected.
Required skills:
• Experience with Python, bash and MySQL
- Linux experience is required
- 2-5 years experience in a Trading Operations Engineer is optimal.
Salary : $225,000 - $250,000
