East Coast Golf Management, Inc. (ECG), is hiring a part-time Pizza Chef at International Golf Course in Murrells Inlet, SC with an hourly rate of $18.

POSITION SUMMARY
A Pizza Chef is a specialized culinary expert responsible for crafting high-quality pizzas from scratch.. Duties include preparing and stretching dough, making fresh sauces, assembling toppings, and operating specialized ovens. They also maintain strict sanitation standards and ensure fast, accurate service during busy hours.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Pizza Chef
- Prep: Prepare fresh sauces (tomato, pesto, white) and chop/grill vegetables and meats.
- Cooking & Baking: Assemble pizzas to order and monitor oven temperatures to ensure the perfect bake, crust, and temperature.
- Kitchen Operations: Maintain inventory, order supplies, minimize waste, and control food portions.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Adhere to strict health, food safety, and sanitation guidelines, ensuring all workstations and equipment are sterilized.
- Menu Development: Help create new pizza recipes and seasonal specials.
The Pizza Chef must have strong communication skills and the ability to effectively work alone. They should also have excellent customer service skills, as they will be interacting with coworkers throughout the shift.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
The Pizza Chef may also perform other duties as required by management.

Education/Credentials
ServSafe certification is a plus
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef, Pizzaiolo, or relevant kitchen role.
- Deep knowledge of various pizza types (e.g., Neapolitan, Sicilian, New York-style) and baking techniques.
- The ability to stand for long periods and work comfortably in a fast-paced, hot environment.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
- A valid food safety/handler certification (often required).
