Contract Review Specialist I – Job Description
Position Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Saturdays as needed
Pay Range: $18.00–$23.00 per hour
Location: Waterbury Office
The Contract Review Specialist works directly with the Pre-Sale Team to support East Coast Flooring. This role is primarily responsible for reviewing, auditing, and ensuring the accuracy of customer contracts prior to processing; identifying potential issues or risks; and assisting with related administrative tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
· Review and audit all pending contracts for accuracy, compliance, and completeness prior to approval.
· Identify errors, omissions, or discrepancies in contracts and work with internal teams to resolve them before submission.
· Monitor contract status in the contract review queue and drive timely resolution.
· Document root causes of frequent errors and communicate findings to leadership for process improvement.
· Collaborate with sales and scheduling teams to ensure contract terms align with installation requirements and customer expectations.
· Track and report on contract review metrics (for example, error types, turnaround times, approval rates).
· Provide feedback to internal teams to help prevent recurring contract issues.
· Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, file management, invoice research, and scheduling as needed.
· Support the Pre-Sale Team with measure-related chargebacks tied to contract discrepancies.
· Create and maintain accurate records of all contract reviews, escalations, and resolutions.
· Serve as a liaison with Lowe’s partners to resolve contract-related concerns in a professional manner.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Prior experience in contract review, customer service, administration, or a related role is a plus.
- Comfortable working with computer systems, spreadsheets, and web-based tools.
- Ability to learn flooring-related contract terms, installation requirements, and chargeback processes (training provided).
- Strong time management skills and reliability in meeting deadlines.
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
