Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to QMHPs, guiding their case management and therapeutic interventions
- Conduct regular case reviews, documentation audits, and performance evaluations to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements
- Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for diverse populations including children, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those with complex mental health needs
- Support QMHPs in crisis intervention, crisis management, and de-escalation techniques during emergency situations
- Ensure all patient records comply with HIPAA regulations and are accurately maintained using medical terminology and proper documentation standards
- Facilitate ongoing training on topics such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and other evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans, group therapy sessions, and family counseling initiatives to promote holistic patient care
Experience
- Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) with current licensure in good standing
- Proven experience supervising or mentoring mental health professionals or case managers in a clinical setting
- Extensive background working with children, individuals with disabilities—including autism spectrum disorder—and those requiring specialized behavioral health interventions
- Strong knowledge of crisis intervention strategies, trauma-informed care including PTSD management, and addiction counseling techniques
- Familiarity with medical records systems, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding standards, and medical documentation practices
- Experience conducting intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and providing individual/group psychotherapy using modalities such as behavioral therapy or social work approaches
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health services
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality patient care standards
