What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant position at East Aurora Family Practice?
Full Time for a busy Family Practice.
As a Medical Assistant, you will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care and administrative support within our healthcare team. Reporting to the supervising physician, you will utilize your core skills in EHR systems, vital signs monitoring, and medical terminology to assist in patient intake and ensure efficient practice operations.
Must have experience with EKG's, spirometry's, vitals, EMR, rooming patients, taking history, cleaning/stocking patient rooms, handling specimens, lab requisitions, and assist physician with office procedures.
Some clinical experience as a medical assistant is desirable. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and computer skills would be helpful. Must have a desire to work, a go-getter attitude, and interact in a professional and caring manner with patients, staff and physicians. Your willingness to learn new skills and to treat our patients the way you would want to be treated.
