University of Arkansas - East Arkansas Community College is currently accepting applications for the position of LPN Instructor.
Position Responsibilities:
- Meet all the job responsibilities for instructor as outlined in the UAEACC Employee Handbook and the Nursing Faculty handbook
- Adhere to the CEU requirements for nurse licensure per ASBN
- Maintain BLS-CPR Certification
- Lecture concepts of the curriculum as decided by the chairperson after discussion of strengths
- Provide direct supervision of students in the campus laboratory, simulation lab and clinical settings
- Participate in maintaining equipment and supply inventory
- Participate in written evaluations of students in both theory through examinations and assignments, and in practice through written assignments and clinical evaluations
- Assist in administering the philosophy, objectives, and guidelines of the program as outlined in the PN program
- Attend all required faculty meetings
- Complete duties as outlined in the Nursing Faculty Orientation Handbook
- Other duties as assigned
Minimal Qualifications:
- An Associate Degree with RN credentials is required, BSN preferred
- At least one year of experience in nursing field
