Arkansas State University Newport is seeking applicants for the position of Clinical Instructor of Nursing for the Division of Nursing and Health Professions. This is a part time position; night and weekend work may be required. Positions will be filled as needed.
The Clinical Instructor of Nursing will provide undergraduate clinical supervision and instruction to students in the nursing program as they complete their nursing clinical rotations while in the area hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics ensuring that the skills and foundation needed for progression in the program are met.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree or ADN with a state RN license is preferred, along with two years of recent clinical experience. The selected person must be a Licensed Practical Nurse with at least 2 years’ experience working in the health care field.
It is also incumbent for this person to have patience, strong organizational, delegation, and interpersonal skills and be responsible and perform in a professional manner.
