- POSITION SUMMARY
- The Manager of Respiratory Care evaluates and monitors staff performance to ensure that respiratory therapy is providing consistent care and performing within the Department policies and procedures. Plans and monitors the budget process. Oversees scheduling of staff, equipment and supply needs. Serving as a resource person to staff, other department personnel, nurses and physicians.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- Associate's degree
Minimum Experience- 3 years clinical experience.
- 2 years supervisory experience.
Required Registration/License/Certification- Active Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy License
- RRT
- BLS
- ACLS must be obtained within 12 months of DOH/Transfer
- PALS and NRP must be obtained within 12 months of DOH/Transfer.
Preferred Education- BS degree
Preferred Experience- 5 years clinical experience.
Preferred Registration/License/Certification- ACCS
- RPFT
- NPS
