- POSITION SUMMARY
- Performs and documents patient physical assessment to identify priority care needs, obtains a detailed medical history, identified patients at physiological and/or physiological risk. Performs procedures necessary to implement plan of care, orders tests and consults as required by plan of care. Accurately documents all patient care activities and evaluates the outcome of patient care.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- PA - accredited by the ARC-PA and either the CAHEA or CAAHEP
Minimum Experience- Preferred one year of medical experience from a similar setting.
Required Registration/License/Certification- Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Certification for advanced practice Licensed or eligible for licensing in State.
- BLS within 90 days of hire
Preferred Education- PA - accredited by the ARC-PA and either the CAHEA or CAAHEP
Preferred Experience- 1 to 2 years Healthcare/Hospital experience.
Preferred Registration/License/Certification- American Academy of Physician Assistants
