- POSITION SUMMARY
- The Multi Care Tech (MCT) assists the professional nursing staff in the care of the patient in a manner that considers the safety, comfort, and the therapeutic environment. The MCT assists with the activities of daily living, taking vital signs and other indicated specimens or measures, documenting observations as needed and assures the primary nurse is updated in a timely manner of any deviations from normal parameters. The MCT works with the professional staff as a team to contribute to the smooth running of the unit.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or 10 years of relevant experience
- Minimum Experience
- N/A
- Required Registration/License/Certification
- BLS within 90 days of DOH/Transfer
- Preferred Education
- Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program or certified medial assistant program.
- Preferred Experience
- 1 year experience in acute care facility
