- POSITION SUMMARY
- Provides safe therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way. Incorporates differences into the provision of care. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum to include patient and family education. Utilizes standards, guidelines, protocols, or pathways for care delivery. Incorporates data and information to continuously improve care and practice to enhance outcomes. Administers Medications according to standard nursing practice. Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development. Qualifications: Graduate of a school of nursing. Registered Nursing License, BLS required within 90 days of hire/transfer. 1 to 2 years of recent med/ surg experience preferred.
- $65/hr
- 13 week contract
- No benefits
- Expectation to work every other weekend and 7 shifts per pay period (3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next week)
- Will be assigned to cover ALL Med/Surg areas.

- Minimum Education
- Graduate from a school of nursing
- Minimum Experience
- Required Registration/License/Certification
- Alabama Board of Nursing License
- BLS upon hire
- Preferred Education
- BSN
- Preferred Experience
- 1 to 2 years of Med/ Surg experience
- Preferred Registration/License/Certification
- Affilliation with professional organization (American Nurse Association, Alabama Nurse Association, American Nephrology Nurse Association, etc)
- Other Requirements
- Complete Peritoneal Dialysis Training (offered onsite) within first year of employment.
