What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Representative position at EASE LOGISTICS SERVICES LLC?
The Account Representative is a point of contact for all accounts in their team’s book of business. They are responsible for contributing to the success and growth of accounts by fostering relationships, participating in day-to-day operations, and providing insight to key performance indicator reports on stability. They also support Senior Account Manager and Account Manager on tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Follow and implement all aspects of the EASE Logistics Customer Journey, adhering to the company's service model and standards.
- Capitalize on business opportunities with timely solutions, optimizing resources, and educating customers on EASE Logistics' services and solutions.
- Adapt to customer needs, leveraging technologies and market knowledge to provide competitive rates and drive optimal outcomes, including using EASE lane history for bid/RFQ negotiations.
- Utilize tools, data, and reports to enhance customer experience, maximize order conversions, and provide in-depth customer operation insights.
- Work with Carrier Solutions for load visibility and prebooking, ensure carrier compliance with specific needs, and provide timely issue resolutions.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and negotiate with carriers to maximize margins.
- Regularly review KPI metrics, adhere to SOPs, and contribute to organizational goals and policies.
- Demonstrate account growth, strategically manage customer profiles, and collaborate on RFQs.
- Act with urgency in problem-solving, enhancing operational efficiency, and contributing to team performance.
- Think strategically and work independently on existing and new business accounts and assist in root cause analysis of operational issues.
- Engage in customer visits, assist in resolving Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable issues, and escalate service failures as needed.
- Ensure all operations are reviewed, assigned appropriately, and confirm all relevant systems are accurately updated.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- High school diploma or DGE is required.
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Additional related training and certifications will be weighted on a case-by-case basis.
Experience
- 0 years of related experience is required with a bachelor's degree.
- 2 years of related experience is required with an associate degree.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 3 years of related experience is required.
- Transportation industry experience is a plus.
