Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople by carrying materials, tools, and equipment to designated work areas
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, organizing supplies, and installing various site specific products such as landscape fabric, stakes, etc.
- Support in the installation of structures, fixtures, and other building components under supervision
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Operate basic tools and machinery as trained and authorized
- Help with site cleanup and organization at the end of each workday to promote efficiency and safety
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
Skills
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning new tasks
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work under supervision
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members on-site
- Willingness to learn the proper use of tools, equipment, and safety gear
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required; training will be provided
