Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, siding, door hanging, cabinet installation, and other carpentry tasks using hand tools and power tools.
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, roofing, and metal stud framing as needed.
- Conduct demolition, restoration, water damage remediation, and mold remediation tasks with precision and safety awareness.
- Fabricate and install fixtures, cabinetry, drywall (including plastering and stucco), flooring, tile laying, and siding materials.
- Operate heavy machinery and perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining a clean and organized work site.
- Read schematics for electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems or other specialized components to support remodeling or restoration projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with knowledge of construction estimating preferred.
- Skilled in various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, woodworking, fixture installation, and cabinetry.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, scaffolding setup, and metal stud framing.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, roofing techniques, and flooring installation.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration processes and mold remediation is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces.
