Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to manage and work alongside a team of 2 or more maintenance technicians. This hands-on leadership role is essential to ensuring that every job meets EarthScapes’ standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a crew of 2 landscape technicians
- Operate and maintain commercial-grade landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers)
- Perform and oversee routine maintenance services including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and blowing
- Conduct pre- and post-job site inspections
- Ensure safety protocols and company standards are followed
- Communicate with the Maintenance Production Manager about scheduling, supplies, and client feedback
- Train, motivate, and develop crew members
- Accurately record timesheets and job completion data
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (Mandatory minimum)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape maintenance
- At least 2 years of experience as a landscape crew leader or foreman
- Proficiency in using commercial-grade landscaping equipment
- Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills
- Reliable and punctual with attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience with both residential and commercial maintenance
- Knowledge of plant material and seasonal landscape care
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Must be comfortable standing and moving for long periods
- Willingness to perform physically demanding labor daily
