Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of landscapers in executing landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction projects with precision and efficiency
- Coordinate daily schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects
- Perform landscape tasks including lawn care, pruning, planting, maintenance, and tree care
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for everyone
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Conduct quality inspections to guarantee that work meets company standards and client specifications
- Assist in training new team members on landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, and horticulture practices
- Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Knowledge of construction processes related to outdoor projects such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls
- Expertise in tree care, irrigation systems, gardening techniques, and general landscape maintenance
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks clearly and foster teamwork
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in landscaping and horticulture operations
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
