Job Description
EarthCam is seeking a hands-on Sales Director to serve as the operational right hand to our VP of Sales and help drive the day-to-day execution of our sales organization.
This role is ideal for a strong player-coach who enjoys working directly with sales teams to improve performance, strengthen pipeline execution, support deal strategy, and ensure CRM accuracy and visibility across the organization. The Sales Director helps translate leadership priorities into daily execution across the sales team while maintaining structure, accountability, and momentum across active opportunities.
Working closely with Territory Sales Representatives, Account Managers, and the Inside Sales Operations team, this role ensures the team has the tools, training, and support needed to close business efficiently and grow existing accounts successfully.
This is a highly collaborative leadership role focused on execution, coaching, CRM excellence, and operational alignment across the sales organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key operational partner to the VP of Sales, helping execute daily sales priorities across the organization
- Support Territory Sales Representatives and Account Managers with deal strategy, pipeline movement, and closing execution
- Coach and mentor sales team members on positioning, follow-through, and opportunity management
- Oversee the Inside Sales Operations support team to ensure strong administrative alignment with pipeline activity
- Maintain high standards of CRM accuracy, visibility, and accountability across opportunities, activities, and forecasting
- Help structure pipeline tracking and reporting so leadership has clear insight into performance and deal progression
- Support onboarding and ongoing training of sales team members on tools, messaging, and internal processes
- Reinforce consistent execution of sales workflows and internal coordination between Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Participate in key customer conversations and complex deal support when needed
Help maintain sales momentum across both new business development and expansion opportunities

- Process-oriented with a strong appreciation for CRM accuracy and pipeline visibility
- A practical communicator who works well across departments and leadership levels
- Comfortable mentoring both experienced Account Managers and developing Territory Sales Representatives
- Motivated by improving structure, accountability, and consistency across a growing sales organization
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in sales, sales leadership support, or sales operations within a technology or solution-based environment
- Experience supporting pipeline forecasting, CRM management, and reporting workflows
- Strong familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems
- Demonstrated experience coaching sales professionals and supporting deal execution
- Experience working alongside inside sales support or sales coordination teams preferred
- Background in SaaS, construction technology, security solutions, or enterprise solution selling is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
