About the Role
We are seeking a driven and relationship-oriented Business Development Coordinator to help grow our presence across the Greater Houston area and beyond. In this role, you’ll work directly with decision-makers in the architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), and public infrastructure sectors. The applicant will build partnerships, secure new clients, and increase brand visibility through outreach, networking, and strategic positioning.
You will serve as the link between our technical teams and clients, confidently, honestly, and professionally representing Earth Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and pursue business opportunities with architects, developers, civil firms, municipalities, school districts/higher education, and contractors.
• Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships
• Strategically promote our geotechnical engineering services, including proposal writing, presentations, and capability statements
• Attend industry events, networking functions, and meetings to increase brand awareness and client engagement
• Work closely using our internal marketing database to lead the planning of messaging, social media efforts, and client communications.
• Support the proposal process, including RFP/RFQ responses and contract negotiations
• Track pipeline progress using CRM tools and report on conversion metrics
• Work directly with company leadership to shape growth strategies and adapt to industry trends
What We’re Looking For
• 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management (AEC or technical services preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Confident and able to speak with CEOs, PMs, and public agency reps.
• Familiarity with geotechnical, civil, or construction industries is a strong plus
• Ability to craft or contribute to compelling proposals and marketing materials
• Self-starter with a growth mindset and strong organizational skills
• Must be located in or willing to commute within the Greater Houston area
