What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Excavation Laborer/Operator position at Earth Contractors LLC?
Earth Contractors is a busy and diverse company that was founded in 1976. We provide the following services to central Connecticut:
- Site Development
- Hydro Excavation
- Utility Construction and Repair
- Septic Construction and Repair
- Demolition
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of excavation experience
- Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- CDL A or B is a huge plus
- Maintain good health status and flexibility to bend, push, pull, stoop and/or twist.
- Must be able to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience with all aspects of utility excavation laboring
- Experience with heavy equipment.
Necessary Attributes:

- Team player and with strong interpersonal and verbal skills.
- Dedicated and hard working.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally.

This position is not specific to one duty. All employees shall be expected to perform all duties as needed, including laboring, operating, driving, and equipment maintenance as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.50 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
