We have exciting opportunities and are hiring for multiple preschools, daycares, and childcare centers throughout Philadelphia, PA. We are looking for Lead Teachers for our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.
*We are offering a $1,000 hiring incentive for qualified candidates, subject to school approval and eligibility requirements*
Lead Teacher Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Lead daily classroom activities and maintain effective classroom management
- Support children's individual developmental needs and adjust activities as appropriate
- Communicate professionally and warmly with children, families, and peers
- Collaborate effectively with Assistant Teachers and center leadership
- Follow all health, safety, licensing, and classroom-ratio requirements while supervising children at all times
Lead Teacher Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years old
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years of experience working in daycare, preschool, or child care settings with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to create a positive, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
