Responsibilities and Duties
- Position requires warm, caring and nurturing individual who has experience working with children in a formal group setting.
- Lesson planning and continuous daily interaction with children required.
- Communicate positively with students, parents and staff.
- Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.
- Taking observational notes and assessments of children in daily programming
- Remain compliant with the Department of Children and Youth (DCY) licensing requirements and Step Up to Quality (STUQ) standards
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 years experience as a Lead teacher
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field preferred
- CPL 2 required and CPL 3 preferred
- Experience with Creative Curriculum and Step Up to Quality (STUQ) a plus
- Must be flexible, energetic, with an ability to multi-task, plan, organize, and problem solve
- Strong communication and people skills; ability to work in team environment
- All positions require background screening and medical clearance
- Must be able to lift and carry child up to 45 lbs

Starting Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour based on experience, education and training
