Your Role as an Early Childhood Teacher
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you'll help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children feel valued, supported, and excited to learn.
You'll work alongside a dedicated team of educators to support children's development through hands-on activities, purposeful play, daily routines, and positive interactions.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Create a welcoming, positive, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development
- Encourage growth in language, communication, social-emotional skills, independence, and problem-solving
- Support children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence through play-based learning
- Establish and maintain consistent classroom routines, including meals, rest periods, transitions, and learning activities
- Use positive guidance strategies to encourage appropriate behavior and healthy peer relationships
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families
- Communicate professionally with families about children's daily experiences and developmental progress
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership to maintain a supportive, team-centered environment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom that meets Minnesota childcare licensing and health requirements

Qualifications

- Qualifications to serve as a Teacher under Minnesota childcare licensing requirements
