POSTED ON 4/16/2026 CLOSED ON 4/21/2026

What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Analyst – Commercial Banking (Consumer & Retail Products) position at Early Career?

Citi’s Commercial Bank (CCB) for the North American (NAM) region is a rapidly growing business, targeting emerging, mid- and larger-sized companies based in the United States or Canada, with annual revenue generally from $20 million to $1 billion plus.  To facilitate the CCB’s wholesale lending activities, Commercial Lending Management (CLM) serves as an in-business credit function organized around our strategic industries and global target market approach.  CLM plays a critical role of the client delivery model for the CCB, translating thought-leadership, industry and product expertise, and an end-to-end ownership of the credit relationship into best-in-class lending solutions.

Citi’s U.S. Commercial Bank (CCB) is a rapidly growing platform serving emerging, mid‑market, and larger companies across the U.S. and Canada, typically with revenues from $20MM to $1B . At the center of CCB’s lending model is Commercial Lending Management (CLM)—an in‑business credit organization that partners closely with Relationship Managers and Independent Risk to deliver disciplined underwriting, strong portfolio management, and client‑focused lending solutions.
We are seeking a motivated Credit Analyst to join the North America CLM Consumer & Retail Products team in Chicago, a key Citi commercial banking and credit hub. This role reports to the U.S. CLM Retail & Consumer Products Team Lead and offers hands‑on exposure to commercial credit underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and structured deal execution.
