What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waddler Teacher position at Early Bloomers Child Care?
Waddler Teacher | Early Bloomers Child Care
Location: Marysville, WA
Tiny Feet. Big Feelings. We're Hiring!
Do you have the patience to help a tiny human put on their own shoes, even when it takes approximately 47 minutes?
Can you celebrate someone successfully using a spoon like they just won an Olympic gold medal?
Do you understand that sometimes the biggest problems in life involve the wrong color cup?
You might be exactly who we're looking for!
Early Bloomers Child Care is looking for a dependable, caring, and enthusiastic Waddler Teacher to join our Marysville team!
Waddlers are at such an incredible stage of development. They're discovering their independence, finding their voices, building relationships, and learning how to navigate some pretty BIG emotions in their little bodies.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys this age group and understands that being an early learning teacher is so much more than supervising children.
What We're Looking For
- Patience and understanding. Waddlers are learning how the world works, and they need someone who can guide them with kindness and consistency.
- Dependability. Our children thrive on routines and relationships. Showing up matters!
- Engagement. We want someone who gets down on the floor, sings the silly songs, reads the same book for the 12th time, and makes everyday moments meaningful.
- A positive attitude. Some days are messy, loud, and unpredictable. Being able to laugh, adapt, and keep a positive attitude makes all the difference.
- Teamwork. Strong classrooms start with strong teams who communicate, support each other, and work toward the same goals.
- A willingness to learn. Experience in early childhood education is preferred, but we also value the right personality, work ethic, and desire to grow.
What You'll Be Doing
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Supporting children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Planning meaningful, hands on learning experiences
- Encouraging independence while providing appropriate guidance and support
- Building positive relationships with children and their families
- Maintaining classroom routines, cleanliness, and organization
- Working collaboratively with your teaching team
- Following Washington State DCYF licensing requirements and center policies
A Little About Us
Early Bloomers Child Care has been serving children and families since 2015!
We believe children only get one childhood, and the relationships and experiences they have during these early years matter.
Our classrooms are relationship based, experience based, and designed to feel warm, welcoming, and home like.
We have high expectations for our teachers because the work we do matters. But we also believe that laughter, creativity, and having fun should be part of every day.
If you're someone who can handle big feelings, celebrate little victories, and find joy in the everyday adventures of toddlerhood, we'd love to meet you!
