What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3-K/PreK Floater Teacher Assistant Needed position at Early Bird Educational Center?
Full Time 3-K/PreK Teacher Assistant needed for classroom of 15:
- Should have previous experience working with children ages 2-5
- Supervise and monitor the safety of students.
- Prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children.
- Assist students keep good hygiene.
- Organize activities so that students can learn about the world and explore interests.
- Work with Lead Teacher to develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime.
- Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring the problems to the attention of parents.
- Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interest.
Requirements
Qualifications - Required.
- Minimum age of 21
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- A commitment to working with children in a developmental setting and a sincere desire to have a meaningful effect on their lives.
- Able to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Perform all physical aspects of the position, including frequently moving around, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
