Early Bird Education is seeking a motivated and dependable Assistant Center Director. We provide high-quality early childhood care and education for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years and are looking for a strong leader who is ready to grow and make a meaningful impact.
The ideal candidate has a passion for early childhood education, strong organizational and leadership skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Candidates must have experience working in a licensed childcare facility and meet state licensing requirements for an assistant administrator or designee.
Overview:
The Assistant Center Director supports daily center operations in partnership with the Center Director. This role includes guiding teachers, building strong family relationships, ensuring licensing compliance, and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director in daily operations and overall school management
- Provide leadership and guidance to teaching staff to ensure high-quality classroom environments
- Assist with staff scheduling, enrollment management, and parent communication
- Maintain compliance with all state licensing, health, and safety regulations
- Serve as acting Director when needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in early childhood education; prior leadership experience preferred
- Experience in a licensed childcare setting required
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability and team-focused mindset
- Must meet state licensing requirements for Assistant Administrator/Designee
