We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. This role involves engaging with children in various activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development. The Daycare professional will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of all children in their care while providing support to families.

Duties

  • Supervise and engage with children in daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote learning and development.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social interaction and cooperation among children.
  • Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Provide care for infants and toddlers, including diaper changes, feeding, and nap supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare space to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Administer first aid when necessary and maintain accurate records of incidents or accidents.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to develop individualized plans for children with special needs or behavioral challenges.

Experience

  • Previous experience working with students or children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
  • Experience in behavior management techniques to support children's emotional needs.
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial; certification is a plus.
  • Experience in special education or caregiving for children with diverse needs is an advantage.
  • A background in infant and/or toddler care is essential for this role.
