Early Beginnings Atkins, Inc. is family owned and operated childcare center that is located minutes West of Cedar Rapids off Hwy 30. Co-Directors are present and engaged in the daily operations to foster a warm and welcoming work environment. Our goal is to make everyone feel valued and appreciated while creating a positive and productive learning environment.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Age Assistant to join our team! As a School Age Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their educational journey. Responsibilities:
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Adhere to all licensing regulations and safety guidelines
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong classroom management skills
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to educate and engage young learners effectively
