Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our manufacturing team at our Peru, IL facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering principles applied to manufacturing processes, with a focus on optimizing production, ensuring safety, and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize chemical manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, and maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
• Conduct process simulations, data analysis, and pilot testing to support scale-up and new product development.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout manufacturing operations.
• Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
• Support equipment selection, installation, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of chemical process design and optimization.
• Familiarity with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
