Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing Legendary customer service by assisting patients in selecting frames that complement their face shape, skin tone, and personal style.
- Take precise measurements to ensure accurate fit and optimal vision correction.
- Assist with fitting glasses and lenses, ensuring maximum comfort.
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and treatments available.
- Dispensing, adjusting and repairing eyewear as needed.
- Troubleshooting
- Managing patient records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Manage inventory effectively.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience as an Optician
- ABO preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in optical equipment usage and lens fitting techniques.
- Experience with reading and billing insurance allowances, pricing frames and lenses.
- Strong knowledge of eyewear trends, lens types, and frame styles.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively with patients, team members and doctors.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency with computer systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
- Comfortability with sales processes .
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
- Punctuality and Reliability are required.
