Job Overview
Eagle Travel Plaza is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of the gas station and ensure smooth, efficient, and safe store performance. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in supervising staff, maintaining operational standards, monitoring cash and inventory, and assisting with overall store management. This position requires strong leadership, accountability, and a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the gas station
- Map out strategies that lead to efficiency among workers
- Monitor cash requirements, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs on a daily basis
- Responsible for training, evaluation, and assessment of workers
- Complete daily reporting of store operations and ensure timely daily cash deposits
- Maintain gas pumps and actively monitor and report outages
- Implement and enforce all merchandising and vendor policies and procedures
- Responsible for training, motivating, and assessing workers
- Ensure proper operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and calling for repairs as needed
- Ensure the gas station consistently meets all required safety and health standards
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.50 - $14.00 per hour
