JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Accountant will play a vital role in ensuring the company’s accounting records are complete and accurate and financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepare and maintain accounting records and supporting documentation to properly reflect financial transactions of the company
- Prepare journal entries and related accounting analysis
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and participate in monthly closing
- Commitment to month-end closure deadlines
- Perform financial analysis to support business decisions
- Perform technical accounting research and apply accounting standards to business transactions
- Generate reports using NetSuite and other tools
- Support the Accounts Payable Team
- Facilitate payment processing
- Prepare, analyze and distribute financial reports
- Perform and document assigned internal controls
- Assist in identifying areas of improvement and implementing enhancements
- Meet the physical demands of the position as defined in the Physical Demands Analysis
- Other job duties as assigned
- Comply with Company drug and alcohol program
$85K - $120K / annual
