Role Description The Environmental Health Safety Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in McKinney, TX. This position is responsible for implementing and monitoring environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting safety inspections and audits, supporting incident reporting and investigations, and maintaining EHS documentation and records. The coordinator will assist in developing and delivering safety training, promoting safe work practices, and partnering with operations leadership and field teams to identify and mitigate risks. This role also supports continuous improvement initiatives, drives safety culture engagement, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety program implementation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS), with experience managing environmental compliance and EHS documentation.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Occupational Health, including understanding of ergonomics, exposure controls, and worker well-being initiatives.
- Relevant skills such as incident investigation, root cause analysis, regulatory knowledge (OSHA, EPA), and safety training delivery are highly beneficial.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in industrial or rail-related environments, strong communication and collaboration skills, and proficiency with basic computer and reporting tools.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or a related field, or equivalent experience in EHS coordination is advantageous.
