Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and manage the seating chart
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Assist servers with various tasks as needed
- Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient seating and service
Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of food service procedures and etiquette
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
