Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately, and handle cash transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or related roles within the food service or fine dining industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and knowledge of various beverage types is a plus.
- Proficient in using POS systems (Aloha POS experience is advantageous) and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for guest interaction.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements for serving alcohol.
