JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive outbound
lead generation efforts. This role is focused on cold calling and prospecting to introduce our suite of offerings —
including our online parts business, forklift power solutions, and spotter vehicle services — to potential customers across various industries.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Make high-volume outbound cold calls daily to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Clearly communicate the value propositions of our parts, power, and spotter solutions.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of leads using CRM tools and follow-up strategies.
- Schedule appointments or demos for the sales team with qualified prospects.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and outreach strategies.
- Track and report on outreach metrics and lead conversion performance.
- Develops proposals in accordance with Eagle Mark 4 standards and presents them to customers, reviewing them in detail.
- Coordinates the presentation of new proposals in-person to potential customers.
- Coordinates customer meetings with Sales Representatives.
- Collaborates with other internal department staff members as needed, working closely with all company divisions to develop cross-selling strategies and ensure a great customer experience.
- Initiates and approves all documentation to complete sales orders.
- Consistently works toward acquiring new business by generating leads, following up on them, and networking through current customers.
- Attends team meetings to review department goals and strategies as required.
- Maintains professionalism on the job at all times.
- Is reliable and punctual in reporting for work as scheduled.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature as required.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills.
- Comfortable making 50–100 cold calls per day.
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Knowledge of semi-trucks, industrial equipment, parts, motive power or logistics is a bonus.
EXPERIENCE
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer outreach (preferred).
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey information to internal and external customers clearly and concisely.
- Ability to develop relationships with customers.
- Minimal travel outside of the territory (trade shows, training).
