GENERAL PURPOSE
- QC Chemistry Supervisor to manage team of Chemistry analysts, laboratory technicians, and other chemistry personnel.
- Manage the daily operations of a quality control laboratory, ensure quality compliance, regulations, and data integrity are adhered.
- Oversee through testing of in-process, raw materials, finished products, stabilities, method validations/verifications, reference standards qualifications are within the release specifications.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key responsibilities are to supervise team, review, approve data, ensure cGMP/GLP practices are following regulatory requirements, equipment management/maintenance, lead investigations, deviations, out-of-specifications (OOS). Collaborate with Quality control manager, director and other departments to improve process and implementation of new systems and processes.
- Directing day-to-day activities, planning, workload assessment and assignments, scheduling.
- Hiring, coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations, training.
- Oversee analytical testing of raw materials, in-process, stabilities, finished products, reference standards qualifications
- Review & Approve data, reports, timesheets, ADP vacation, time off requests, specifications, Standard Operating Procedures, test methods
- Compliance to all regulatory requirements, FDA, NIST, NSF, etc
- Maintenance/Management of all laboratory equipment calibration, preventative maintenance, new purchases, decommissioning, IQ/OQ/PQ, installation
- Method Development, New Product Development, Method Validation, Method Verification activities
- Documentation, ALCOA , data integrity, writing new SOPs, review SOP, Approve SOPs, and other related documents for Quality Control Chemistry
- Cross- Functional training, collaboration improvement, implementations
- Other requested duties assigned by Eagle Labs, Inc for job function at the level of Quality Control Supervisor of the Quality Control Laboratory.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related scientific discipline from an accredited 4- year college/university
Experience: Minimum 5 years in Quality Control within pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, dietary supplement, or cosmetic industry. Demonstrated success as a QC Senior Chemist or equivalent technical role. Supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong working knowledge of cGMP, FDA, USP, ICH, and related quality guidelines. Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, ICP-MS, etc.). Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to resolve conflicts and guide staff effectively.

Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
