What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening School Nurse position at Eagle Hill School?
Eagle Hill School is seeking a professional, motivated, and energetic Registered Nurse. The position allows the appropriate candidate the opportunity to directly make a difference in the lives of our 210 high school students.
* Maintain a current license as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
* Meet or exceed all expectations as outlined in the Massachusetts “Professional Code of Conduct as a Registered Nurse”.
* Participates in the orientation and training of teaching and residential staff.
* Preferably maintain certification as a First Aid and CPR Instruction
* Assist with the daily operations of the Medication Administration program. Prepares medications for dispensing in advance of need. Dispenses medications as instructed by a qualified provider. Assures all required documentation is present.
* Coordinates all student medications for weekend and vacation home visits.
* Evaluate each student presenting to the Infirmary for illness or injury in a timely manner. Determine and carry out an appropriate plan of treatment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
