We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Quotations team as a Quotations Specialist. This individual will be responsible for providing accurate, timely, and compliant quotations for standard and custom equipment from the Eagle Group product line to our customers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Quotations Specialist plays a critical role in providing accurate, timely, and compliant quotations for standard and custom equipment from the Eagle Group product line. This position ensures proposed equipment meets customer requirements while aligning with Eagle Group manufacturing processes, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. The role requires a highly detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, communication, customer service, and organizational skills. The Quotations Specialist works closely with Customer Service, Sales, Manufacturing, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure superior service, accurate pricing, and high-quality deliverables. The individual must be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interpret customer requests, specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements to prepare accurate quotations 


• Generate formal quotations using CPQ software (AutoQuotes) and internal systems 


• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure accurate pricing and equipment configuration 


• Analyze quotation details, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions that meet customer needs while maintaining manufacturability and compliance 


• Maintain complete, accurate, and well-organized quotation and project documentation 


• Manage multiple quotations simultaneously while meeting deadlines and customer service expectations 


• Develop and maintain working knowledge of Eagle Group products, materials, and manufacturing processes 


• Work independently and within a team-oriented environment 


• Perform other duties as deemed necessary

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• High School Diploma or equivalent required


• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred


• Training or experience with estimating, CPQ/sales software, or data management tools is a plus

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Experience or certifications in quotations, estimating, or related functions preferred


• Prior experience in a manufacturing, technical, or accounting environment preferred


• Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to evaluate pricing and cost-reduction opportunities


• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings or specifications preferred

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills


• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings and blueprints


• Proven knowledge or understanding of manufacturing materials and processes


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems


• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional email drafting


• Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills


• Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines


• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously


• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment


• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The Quotations Specialist works primarily in an office environment within a manufacturing facility, with occasional visits to production areas as needed. The work environment typically has a low to moderate noise level and requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, and change positions throughout the workday. The role may involve maintaining seated positions for extended periods and the ability to move within the facility. The employee must be able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently.
