Duties
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move, load, unload, and organize inventory safely and efficiently
- Assist with order picking and packing using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Stock shelves, organize products, and maintain inventory levels in compliance with warehouse distribution standards
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments with precision
- Utilize basic math skills to count, label, and package items accurately for shipment or storage
- Support warehouse management system (WMS) operations including data entry and inventory tracking (e.g., AS400 or MRP systems)
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse layout, improve workflow, and uphold safety protocols in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience preferred; familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is a plus
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and load/unload equipment
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and inventory control software such as AS400 or MRP systems
- Ability to perform order picking & packing efficiently while maintaining accuracy in a high-volume setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking, shipping & receiving tasks
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items safely as required in warehouse operations
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment
