As a Lead Fire Alarm Technician, you’ll:
- Take ownership of projects — run small crews, oversee installations, and ensure quality work.
- Read blueprints and coordinate with managers on project updates, findings, and issues.
- Perform installation, programming, testing, inspection, and repair of fire detection and signaling systems.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
- Document inspections accurately and follow up on any repair recommendations.
- Mentor and train junior technicians to build the next generation of talent.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4 years of experience in fire protection systems (fire alarm experience required)
- NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems (or ability to obtain within 18 months)
- Strong understanding of fire protection codes and standards
- Proven ability to lead a crew and communicate with multiple stakeholders
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- A team-first attitude with the ability to stay calm, adaptable, and solutions-focused
