Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tractor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining tractors and related agricultural equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to provide high-quality service in a timely manner.

Experience:
- Proven experience as a tractor, diesel, or heavy equipment technician
- Experience with major tractor brands: John Deere, Kubota, Case IH, New Holland
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various outdoor conditions
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine issues on tractors and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and inspections.
- Complete repairs on transmissions, engines, braking systems, cooling systems, and hydraulic components.
- Use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and technical resources to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Document all work performed, parts used, and findings in service reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and recommendations.
- Follow company safety procedures
- Assist with equipment setup, testing, and adjustments as needed.
Expected Hours of Work:
- This position requires approximately 40 plus hours a week. May require overtime or weekend work during Harvest.
Work Environment:
- Most duties and responsibilities are performed in a shop setting with occasional field services.
- Some duties and responsibilities are performed outdoors

- Stairs
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas
- Must be able to climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing 50 pounds
- Exposure to temperatures of approximately 42° in the warehouse
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
